  • Run Android Studio and select Import Project in the window that opens.

  • Navigate to your project’s folder and inside it go to  platforms\android

At this point you’re probably going to see a message similar to the one in the figure below. Gradle is an automatic project wrapping system used by Android Studio. Click OK to create a Gradle project.

  • After this Android Studio will launch and in the lower right hand cornder as in the figure below you will see a message that says  2 processes running, this means the project is loading. Wait until the messages go away, and the status in the lower left hand cornder says Gradle build finished in ...m...s...ms. This means your project’s been loaded.

  • Click on Project on the left to see your project’s tree.

  • To access the files you’ll be working with go to adroid\assets\www.

  • index.html is the main file of your app, so go ahead and open it.
